Story
Jacob and I have chosen to join Turn the Page, a month long reading challenge for Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. With only 5,300 people diagnosed every year, sarcoma can be a very isolating diagnosis for patients, friends and family.
By supporting us, we can help change this story for those affected by the disease.
£1 Could cover the cost of 10 texts to the Sarcoma UK Support Line.
£10 Could be used to buy microscope slides to look at cells in minute detail.
£30 Could fund one hour of use of a high-powered laboratory microscope.
£150 Could fund the Support Line for a week.
Please remember to tick add Gift Aid if you are eligible so that Sarcoma UK can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give!
Thank you for helping us Turn the Page, together we can write the next chapter for bone and soft tissue cancer.
