On the 10th of May I will be taking on a charity abseil down the Port of Leith Distillery to support Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan helps people living with cancer with practical, emotional and financial support.

As most of you will know, in January this year my sister was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer and Macmillan have already been a great support to her in this time.

Having been a member of Showcase for many years, I have also seen other ways this charity has supported so many people dealing with cancer. When the opportunity arose to take part in this abseil and support Macmillan how could I say no!
