It's said that 1 in 2 of us will receive a cancer diagnosis at some point in our lives. This statistic hit home when my Mum became part of that 1 in 2.

On a seemingly ordinary Tuesday afternoon, our world was turned upside down with the news of my Mum’s cancer diagnosis, just 5 months shy of her retirement.

The journey ahead involves chemotherapy and immunotherapy, treatments that bring their own set of challenges and potential side effects. To show support and raise funds for The Royal Stoke Hospital and Cancer Centre where treatment is taking place, as well as to donate hair to The Little Princess Trust, I will undergo a sponsored head shave on November 19th, 2024.
