Story

Hi Everyone,

as some of you might know my Mam had a rare lung cancer 7 years ago after never having smoked a day in her life. Sadly this year it turns out that it has spread to her brain. She is having treatment at the wonderful Freeman hospital.

This is where i first noticed the amazing work of the volunteers from Daft as a Brush, their Drivers and companions will take cancer patients to and from their appointment and even sit with them and offer companionship while waiting for their treatment.

It takes around £500 to get a driver fully trained and qualified so my hopes are to try and get 2 drivers trained.

Any donation is welcome and will be put to good use.

Let's work together towards a future where no one faces cancer alone —one mile and one donation at a time. Together we can turn compassion into action and support people on their personal cancer journey.
