Story
This May, I’m taking on a personal challenge with two amazing friends: walking 50 miles over 5 days along the South West Coast Path, from Plymouth to Mevagissey — all in support of Dogs for Autism, through the Lead the Way Campaign.
We’ll be climbing the equivalent of a mountain (around 1,600 meters!), tackling steep cliffs, rocky paths, and probably getting a bit soggy in the Cornish drizzle… but we’re doing it for a cause that means a lot to us.
Dogs for Autism is the only UK charity to train and provide autism assistance dogs free of charge to those who need them. These dogs are life-changing — they offer independence, safety, calm, and connection.
Through this campaign, every £1 donated represents a mile walked by Louis, the campaign mascot. Our goal is to help Louis clock up the miles — and raise vital funds along the way.
✨ Whether you can donate £5 or £50, it really does make a difference.
✨ If you can’t donate, cheering us on or sharing this page means just as much.
Thank you for supporting us — and helping to change lives, one pawprint at a time 🐶💙DID YOU KNOW...?
The Earth’s circumference is around 25,000 miles.
AND...
It costs £25,000 to train a life-changing autism assistance dog.
Could you help Louis travel the world with this exciting challenge?
For every £1 raised, Louis moves one more mile on his journey.
With each mile walked, we get closer to funding another incredible puppy who will change a life forever.
Once Louis finishes his 25,000 mile adventure, he’ll then pass the baton to the next puppy in line, helping even more autistic individuals gain the life-changing support of an assistance dog.
