As many of you know I volunteer with an organisation that helps the homeless in Newcastle. I see every week how many homeless and vulnerable people there are in need within our local area.

I have decided to take part in the CEO sleepout to raise as much money and awareness for the many charities and organisation's that help within our region.

I am fortunate to be sleeping in a safe place during this event. However, I understand that many individuals don't have that luxury. By participating in this sleepout, I hope to experience a fraction of the challenges they face every night, and to raise awareness and funds to make a real change in their lives.

Even the smallest amount can make a difference so donate if you can.
