We are raising money for charity by walking the 20 miles from Kentwell Hall in Suffolk to Bury St Edmunds cathedral along the old pilgrimage route. We are a group of 7 Tudor enthusiasts who reenact at Kentwell hall and are doing this in full Tudor costume and as authentically as possible (although we are using modern boots as Tudor ones wouldn't stand up to the pounding!). We are also staying at authentic hostelries along the way.

Of an evening we will also be story telling as the ancient pilgrims would have done. We will end our trip with a blessing of our St Edmunds pilgrim badges at the cathedral

My personal cause is Macmillan and I am walking in aid of my wonderful mother in law who succumbed to pancreatic cancer in March 2023. Also in memory of all the wonderful kentwellies we have lost to this awful disease over the years.
