Story

As part of Baby Loss Awareness week, 9-15th October there will be a Ribbon Display, hosted by Norfolk Bluebell Wood, Hainford.

Loss of a baby or pregnancy is heart-breaking and sadly this is happening to families across the UK everyday.

In 2023, Laura and Will's son Oscar was born sleeping and is now laid to rest at the beautiful Norfolk Bluebell Wood, to whom they are extremely grateful for hosting a Ribbon Display this year. To remember Oscar and all the babies much-loved and missed, you are invited to join us in remembering them at Norfolk Bluebell Wood.

Ribbons can be added to the display which will be located near the car park/ Cedar hall at Norfolk Bluebell Wood from the 9th October and will remain in place till the 15th.

Ribbons are located in a box near the office on site (which is in the car park). There are blue, pink and white ribbons which can be tied to the iron stars. There are also fabric pens for you to write the name of the baby you are remembering if you wish.

Already Visited?

If you have already visited the display and are donating having hung a ribbon of the display, thank you for your generosity.

Unable to visit?

If you wish to have a ribbon added to the display in dedication to a baby, please add in the comments when donating;

1. the colour ribbon you would like added (Blue, Pink or White)

2. (optional) your baby’s name to be written on the ribbon

All monies raised will go to Sands, who work to save babies lives and support bereaved families.

Thank you 💙🧡
