Story
12 marathons in 12 months starting with Rutland Water!
As you all know, I am very keen on fundraising for Anthony Nolan following Xander's diagnosis and subsequent stem cell transplant from a donor on the AN register.
The transplant was successful in that Xander was cancer free, unfortunately he battled with graft vs host disease and lost his battle on 10th February 2024 at home.
I can't manage this challenge alone now I am a single parent, so my lovely friends and families are planning on taking on some of the marathons with me and assisting in the fundraising. So they can pick me up and pull me along when I need it! All money still to go to Anthony Nolan in the hope their research into GvHD will help save future daddy's and mummy's.
Any money you can donate will be gratefully received. Even £1 per marathon!
My new aim is to run 12 marathons in 12 months, alongside friends and family.
May 18th Rutland Water
June 16th Hampshire Hoppit
July 21st Rasslebrock Sherwood
August 11th Prosecco Run in Surrey

October 27th Perrierpont Plod
November 24th Turkey Trot

Every day, Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder. We do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. We also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond. We won’t stop until we save the lives of everyone who needs a stem cell transplant. Every penny you donate brings us closer to that day.
