In June, I will be joining 60 other women to ride 400 km and climb 6000m in 3 days around the hills of Slovenia. All the money we raise will go to Club Peloton (clubpeloton.org), the charity and real estate cycling community transforming the lives of vulnerable young people.

Since 2006, Club Peloton has given £4.5 million in grants to beneficiaries including Coram, Cyclists Fighting Cancer, the Multiple System Atrophy trust and Tom AP Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust for projects that make a real difference, including:

- recruiting families for 1,150 children waiting longer than 18 months to find adoptive homes

- assisting 500 families with post adoption support

- awarding 800 bikes, tandems and adapted trikes to children and young people affected by cancer

- supporting research to illustrate the relationship between physical and mental well-being and physical activity in children surviving cancer

- tackling the root causes of violent street crime through 18 amazing projects

- assisting the children of 27 families living with a loved one with MSA
