I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m running the London Marathon this year and I have chosen to raise funds for Starlight Children’s foundation. They have had a profound impact on our family and given us memories that will last a lifetime. Ones that wouldn’t be possible without their help.

Starlight Children’s Foundation is dedicated to brightening the lives of children and families facing serious medical challenges.

Our son, Brooklyn, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and as parents, we’ve learned firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate daily life with a child who has special needs. Simple tasks that most families take for granted—getting dressed, eating, or even playing—can be incredibly difficult and require significant support and effort. This ongoing struggle can take a toll on everyone in our family, physically, emotionally, and financially.

One of the most incredible gifts we’ve received through Starlight Children’s Foundation was the opportunity for our entire family to go to Disney World—an experience that would have been impossible without their support. For families like ours, having a child with special needs means that vacations can often feel out of reach. The logistics of traveling with medical equipment, the financial strain, and the energy required to plan such a trip can be overwhelming.

But thanks to Starlight, we were able to create unforgettable memories together in a place where Brooklyn and our whole family had the chance to experience something we might never have had the opportunity to otherwise.

Starlight ensures that children and their loved ones find moments of relief and happiness during incredibly difficult times.

The charity made such a tangible difference to our lives, one that every child deserves. So please help me raise funds for such an incredible cause, because every penny really does make a difference.
