Story
Hi friends! One of my favorite parts of living in the Pacific Northwest is that everyone has the opportunity to safely explore our National Parks.
You can help support future adventurers and admirers of Mount Rainier by donating to my fundraising climb, ensuring the park has access to critical funds necessary to support its search and rescue teams. These teams create a safer environment and allow everyone the opportunity to adventure.
My goal for this climb is to raise $3,800 for search and rescue efforts in Mount Rainier! Wanna help summit this goal? Please consider giving if you are able!
Real talk - summiting Mount Rainier feels like a classic WIlliam move. And raising money while doing it? Also a classic William move.
If you know me, you know that I’m pretty non-stop when it comes to staying active and finding new adventures. And climbing Mount Rainier has always been a goal of mine. Truly the first time I remember committing to climbing Rainier someday was when by dad let me know that he would like his ashes spread at the top of the mountain. SO I’ve always known I need to get my ass up the mountain someday.
Don’t worry, my dad is still alive and well. BUT when this opportunity to summit with Climb for a Cause came along, I figured it would be 1.) fund to climb with friends and raise money to support the park while doing so and 2.) figure out if I can actually summit while my dad is still around so I can break the news if it’s not in the cards for me.
So here’s to our community coming together to raise money for a park I know so many of us love AND here’s to seeing if I can make it up the mountain. Thanks for reading and being a part of my next big adventure!
