Story
Lancaster Nightline is a student-led listening and information service, open every night of term. Our organisation is made up entirely of volunteers who are dedicated to protecting the wellbeing of their fellow students by providing a listening-ear and ensuring everyone has someone to turn to in their time of need.
As with many charities, we are continuing to feel the impact of the pandemic on our service and are also contending with the rising costs of our day-to-day expenses and running our Nightline. Your generous donation can make a world of difference for the users of Lancaster Nightline - it's a lifeline for those battling loneliness, mental health problems, academic stress and any challenge that comes with being a student.
Help us create a safe space for late-night conversations and emotional support, ensuring that no one feels alone in their struggles. Donations of any amount are welcome, and all money raised will go towards volunteer recruitment, training, publicity and maintenance costs of running our service for anyone who might need it!
Do you want to help, but can't donate right now? You can also support us by doing the following:
- Sharing our JustGiving page on social media!
- Following our Instagram account (@lancasternightline) and sharing our posts to raise awareness, especially if you are a student or society at Lancaster University.
- Volunteer with us! If you are a student, you can apply to join Nightline as a call-taker or Publicity volunteer. For further information: https://lancaster.nightline.ac.uk/
THANK YOU!
