Story

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service's latest cohort of apprentice firefighters will be climbing the equivalent height of Mount Everest (8,848 metres) on 13.5 metre ladder at our Training Centre in Chorley to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

The Fire Fighters Charity helps serving and retired fire service employees, as well as their dependants. It provides mental and physical health support, wellness retreats, financial help, and much more.

Please support our new recruits in this amazing feat of skill and physical endurance!
