Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Lucy Rayner Foundation has helped my local community for years and in recent months, has really been a huge support for people I know that were very lost until the foundation stepped in.

A few years ago, a conversation with one of the members, completely changed my whole ethos and out look. Since then, I have been making it my personal business to do my bit to help people look and feel better.

Having had some battles myself, I realise the importance of protecting yourself mentally. Even the smallest of dips in someone's mental health, at the wrong time, under the wrong circumstance or /and environment, can lead to detrimental consequential, life altering situations.

After seeing The foundation's work first hand and how may people they genuinely help. I found it so hard to hear that their funding has been cut by central government and yet still receiving referrals from them.

Imagine if the one, they just didn't have enough funding to help, was the one, that could not make without their help! Now imagine That one, was your son. daughter, niece, nephew, Brother, sister or friend...... After hearing this, I made a pledge to help raise money for the charity for the whole of 2024. its started with Run Reigate Last year and now I am really ramping things up.

I am doing a skydive for them (eeekkkkk) this will push me to my absolute limits and I'm both scared and excited to be doing this.

Please show me some support by donating anything you can to help this very worthy cause.
