In memory of PC Alex Prentice
The Police Unity Tour is a long-distance cycle ride undertaken by hundreds of police officers across the UK, to raise awareness and funds for Care of Police Survivors.

Story

COPS provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives.

"Your loss is a part of who you are but COPS helps you realise that it doesn’t define you. We are all one big family."

Since its foundation in 2003, COPS has helped hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty.

I am fundraising for CoPS in memory of my best friend PC Alex Prentice who died suddenly at work on 26th April 2022. Alex was a big supporter of CoPS and helped with the Police Unity Tour every year although he refused point blank to cycle anywhere 😂.

I will be proudly wearing a band for Alex again in 2025 and also remembering all of the other fallen officers and staff.
