Story

In September 2021 our beautiful son, Torin, died suddenly and unexpectedly.

Born at 34 weeks, he lived for just under one hour and as his heart stopped, our hearts broke.

In the rawest and darkest of days, it was our family, friends, and colleagues that helped keep some light shinning; not sure how we would piece together our lives, a friend’s words (a friend whose son also died too early) would ring in my ears “Lozza, all you can do is put one foot in front of the other”.

And so here I am. Two and a half years later, forever putting one foot in front of the other and my path is now heading up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) at night (May 18th) on behalf of Sands with some dear mates in honour of Torin (son to Henry and Lorraine, little brother to Sorcha) and all the babies that die too soon.

We will be bringing glitter (eco), lights and laughs to the moonlight walk and will watch the sunrise with tear streamed eyes and aching legs.

So please, sponsor us if you can as we help to raise funds to support bereaved families and research into saving babies’ lives.

Love Lozza and team ‘Here comes the sun’ ☀️
