Story
I'm taking part in the 100 miles in October challenge to help raise the funds needed to build a society that works for autistic people.
As many of you know, this is a charity close to mine and my families heart. Having an autistic child like Jacob, has made me realise, we are the voice for them and we need to do everything we can to help and support them going forward.
Autistic people face discrimination and barriers across all sectors of society – in the health and social care systems, in education, in employment, and everywhere in between. It is crucial that autistic people, and their families and carers, can access tailored information, guidance and support to overcome those barriers, along with opportunities to explore their interests, develop skills and build friendships for fulfilled lives.
For over 60 years the National Autistic Society has been working to change attitudes and transform lives. With our help they can continue on this mission. Thank you for your support!
