on the 11th of may 2023 we should be celebrating Wyatt’s 7th birthday. unfortunately Wyatt sadly passed away 14th of march 2021 at derian house Childrens hospice in chorley. After a battle from day one with myotonic dystrophy he became unwell and unfortunately passed. He was transferred from Manchester children’s hospital to derian house for palliative care. This meant Wyatt could spend his last few days surrounded by his loved ones. During such a sad time the staff at derian house did everything they could to support us as a family.

On the 11th of may 2023 which would have been Wyatt’s 7th birthday we will be doing a walk from Manchester children’s hospital to derian house. This walk will be done by myself Wyatt’s father and his uncle and hopefully a few more family member for sections of the journey. We hope to raise as much money as we can so this level of care and support is available for other families in what truly was the hardest time of our lives.
