Story
I am a proud Girl Scout Alum, Lifetime Member, and Volunteer. As a troop co-leader for kindergarten Daisies and 8th-10th grade Cadettes and Seniors, I am a daily witness to the incredible impact the Girl Scout program can have on our youth members. My Girl Scout volunteer journey began as a way to support my Girl Scout nieces (all four of them!) and has grown into a passion to help realize the mission and purpose of Girl Scouting alongside our members, volunteers, and staff.
I am also honored to serve Girl Scouts of Connecticut as the Director of Member Experience - a position that allows me to continue the work of building vibrant Girl Scout communities at every level.
Our youth members need Girl Scouting now more than ever before. They need the friendships and connections that Girl Scouts can build. They need a safe space to explore, to learn, to fail, and to succeed. And they need the support and the opportunities that Girl Scouts can offer as they navigate a complex and changing world to find their place within it.
One in five girls in Connecticut currently identifies as disconnected. Together, we have the chance to create a positive, successful, and sustainable Girl Scout community across our council.
Your donation today to the Girl Scouts of Connecticut Annual Fund allows us to continue supporting our mission of building girls of Courage, Confidence, and Character who Make the World a Better Place.
