I am taking part in the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon to raise funds for MSF. I have never run anything as far as this before but have been running more on placement in Somerset this year. I am in my final year of medical school and had the privilege of visiting the gynae-oncology MSF clinic in Malawi on my elective in September, witnessing first hand the amazing work MSF in their projects. This organisation is very important to me, I have been part of the Friends of MSF committees at university and endeavour to work for them in my future career. Funding for MSF is particularly vital as the ongoing conflict in Gaza continues and lifesaving humanitarian aid is being provided by MSF.
