We provide support services and work to reduce the number of baby deaths

Story

On Friday 14th June 2024, Ben Seabrook, Kris Lynch and Mike Harris will be taking part in an all-day Golf challenge at Prince's Golf Club. Starting at 5:30am, we will be playing for around 16 hours, completing as many holes as possible.

We are doing this in tribute to our sons and daughters, Christopher, Dylan, Innes and Rohaise. Through our own first-hand experiences of Baby Loss, we are very familiar with the impact this has on bereaved families. Each of us have personally benefited from the amazing support and resources which organisations like Sands make available to bereaved parents like us. Therefore, we want to make a difference, by raising vital funds to help Sands continue to have a far-reaching impact and to support others affected by Baby Loss.

Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.

Sands depends on the amazing energies of its supporters to raise vital funds needed to deliver the wide range of services that they offer. #TeamSands
