Story
My name is Konstantina Nouka, and I have been diagnosed with Ulrich Muscular Dystrophy. My disability affects both my skeletal and respiratory muscles, and as a result, I am a full-time wheelchair user.
This year, I’ve decided to participate in the London Marathon 2025 to raise funds for MDUK. My partner (Cameron Brooks), sister (Sofianna Nouka), and father (Vasilis Noukas) will join me as my assistant runners. Together, we will run/wheel 42km across London to support MDUK.
For the past 60 years, MDUK has been working to support individuals with muscular dystrophy and muscle-wasting conditions by raising awareness, investing in research, and, most importantly… creating a community. Living with a muscle-wasting and weakening condition can be exhausting, stressful, and lonely, but MDUK has been pivotal in improving the lives of people like me.
Consequently, I’ve decided to raise funds for this incredible organisation. The money raised will be directly given to MDUK, which will then distribute it to fulfil its objectives, invest in research, and support the muscular dystrophy community.
If you want to support my fundraiser, I would appreciate your help by making a donation.
