Team Pilgrims runners take to the streets of the capital in this 13.1 mile challenge supporting local hospice care in east Kent.

Story

I'm raising money for Pilgrims Hospices by, hopefully, completing a series of challenges in 2025.

Formerly titled ‘Katharine’s Big Quad’, this endeavour will include 4 separate efforts throughout 2025 all aimed at clocking lots of kilometres. This includes:

1) Swimming the equivalent of ‘The Channel’, aiming to swim 21 miles across June and July

2) Complete my first Sprint Triathlon in August (750m Swim, 20km Bike, 5km Run)

3) Complete equivalent of a Half-Ironman Duathlon (10km Run, 90km Bike, 10km Run) in September

4) And finally, run the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 12th October

The Pilgrims Hospice is a very special cause close to my family. They provided incredible support to my Grandma, Jan Luff, after being diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2018 through to her sad passing in 2020.

It would be a huge honour to raise money for this fantastic charity that provided so much care and support to my Grandma, Grandad and family in this difficult time.

Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page and donating to help Pilgrims deliver skilled and compassionate end-of-life care, free of charge, to thousands of people in east Kent every year.

Your support is appreciated and so important. Thank you!
