Machu Picchu Trek Challenge · 10 August 2024

The University of Exeter is partnering with Alzheimer's Research UK and Endeavours Adventures for the brand-new Machu Picchu Trek taking place in August 2024. It will be a challenging multi-day expedition, reaching altitudes of over 4,600m

Story

Join me in supporting Alzheimer’s Research UK as I take on the Machu Picchu Trek Challenge in 2024. As the UK’s leading dementia research charity, they are revolutionising the ways to treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

It is a cause that is close to my heart as I have seen the impact that dementia can have on individuals and families, so I am extremely grateful for any support you can offer.

My goal is to raise £1,320 for Alzheimer’s Research UK by the trek next summer. In the lead up to this I aim to push myself and run a half marathon in Spring.
