We raise money to provide grants to support childhood cancer families.

Story

December 2019 my son was diagnosed with ALL Leukaemia cancer of the blood.

Like most I had no idea how childhood cancer would effect families. 3 years on I can’t begin to tell you what a journey it’s been.

What I will say is, looking back we wouldn’t be where we are without the help and support of other’s.

My Shining Star help’s families through the trauma and financial hardship of childhood cancer. Anita and her team don’t just give grants, they hold your hand, pull you along at the hardest of times and cheer you along when it’s time to celebrate.

Sadly that’s not everyone’s story!

I promised that I’d do what I could to raise awareness and support for other families, so here we are.

I hate heights…. Yep that’s right!!! So I thought I’d jump out of a plane just to show the kids that you can do anything in life if you set your mind to it!!

I don’t know what I was thinking….. but the best moments in life are when you step out your comfort zone and just go for it. ❤️

Thank you for being here and taking the time to read the story….

Every little helps these families xxxxx

The long term goal of the charity will be to fund medical treatment currently unavailable in the UK, extending options for life expectancy, and funding future medical research to increase survival rates.
