Story
Our team are quitting together to raise money for Happydays. We are looking to raise £1000, which will provide essential support to those that need it, especially as the winter months draw in.
Over 60% of people experiencing homelessness struggle with addiction. More than half have poor mental health too.
Asking for help and breaking addictions is hard, so we are asking you to give up something you enjoy, just for one month, to stand in solidarity with the homeless community.
We know giving up chocolate or social media is worlds apart from the struggles faced by people we support at Happy Days but it is a symbolic act of togetherness and a great way to fundraise for our charity.
With your support for The Big Quit:
£18 - Can pay for a safe, warm place to sleep
£28 - Can pay to feed a family of four for a week
£50 - Can pay for 20 homecooked meals at our free Community Café, for people who can't afford to feed themselves
£87.50 - Can pay for one of our support workers to give intensive 121 support to someone in crisis for half a day
