It's time to get on your bike and take on this amazing challenge to help the most vulnerable people from the cycle of poverty. Wherever you are and whatever the distance, join us in our cycling challenge this August, September and October!

Story

I am taking on the mighty 150-mile Balaka Blast and the Loch Rannoch 10k and I would be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

The Balaka Blast challenge is one of the epic routes in EMMS International's Pedal 4 Poverty fundraiser. EMMS is Scotland's longest-serving international healthcare charity and stands for the reduction of health inequalities in the world's poorest communities. Thanks to our amazing supporters, together we're able to boost healthcare for those with non-communicable diseases, build healthcare work forces, respond to emergencies and create cheap, green energy solutions for healthcare facilities. We work in Malawi, Nepal, India, Rwanda, Zambia and in the UK.

I will cycle 150 miles between now and October, and top it off with a 10km run in Loch Rannoch on 12th October. This is my favourite place in the whole world and I couldn't think of a better way of completing the challenge!
