In March 2025 I will be trekking 100km across the Sahara Desert with an intrepid team put together by Carter the Brave. This is the next chapter in a series of incredible events through Carter The Brave.

I am self funding the trip so all monies sponsored will go directly to the Birmingham Children's Hospital.

I am working hard to get in training walks before we set off in March.

Any donations are very kindly received, there is an option to be put on the corporate banner that we are taking with us. If you would like to do this and if so which logo size you would prefer, the small is £100 donation and the large £250.

The funds raised from the Sahara will specifically facilitate these 3 projects:

A research project to investigate pre-disposed conditions of children with Leukaemia (Acute Myeloid) in order to improve treatment. This is a real area of unmet need in the UK & internationally & Dr Potluri’s project could ultimately improve prognosis greatly for children & in turn adults.

CTB will be donating towards the new Entrance of BCH which will make that first arrival at hospital so much better & less stressful for all poorly children entering the hospital. Birmingham Children's Hospital Entrance £3m Transformation

CTB will invest in an Ultrasound Venous Machine which will reduce pain, complications, infection, need for anaesthetic & facilitate better IV therapy.
