To observe World Suicide Prevention Day we are holding a 5k sunrise walk to address the growing issue of suicide and encourage positive change. We aim to raise awareness around suicide as well as raising vital funds to help towards our services.

Story

Every year on September 10th World Suicide Prevention Day is observed. This is such an important date to address the growing issue of suicide and encourage positive change.

On Sunday 8th September I will be taking part in the The Sunrise Walk of Hope, a 5k walk starting at 5am.

The Walk of Hope aims to raise awareness around suicide as well as raising vital funds for Conwy Mind that support so many people that experience suicidal thoughts.

We will all walk together to show nobody has to walk alone in their journey and watch the sunrise whilst remembering those lost to suicide. Together we can squash the stigma and help more people!

My fundraising target for this event is £50. Any and all support is very gratefully received and will make a meaningful difference in raising awareness and supporting those affected by suicide.

Thank you 💕
