Glasgow Kiltwalk 2025

Glasgow Kiltwalk 2025 · 26 April 2025 to 27 April 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
As most of you know, our gorgeous girl Anna was born 7 weeks early in February 2024. We had some very scary moments over the 5 weeks Anna spent in hospital. We will never forget the beeping of machines, watching her “sats” religiously and the worst feeling of having to walk down the corridor to leave her each night.
We also had some really happy and lovely memories as Anna got bigger & stronger & “coming home” started being tentatively talked about. We will never ever forget the kindness, care, compassion and love, every member of the neonatal team showed to Anna, ourselves and Alexander.
We knew she was getting excellent medical care but the kindness and patience (as we asked a million questions) shown to us all, on top of this, meant everything to us.
We will be forever grateful for such amazing care and so have decided to take part in the Kilt Walk this year along with some of our willing family members!!
We want to do this as a small gesture of our appreciation to the wonderful neonatal unit & the incredible services Crosshouse children's fund provide to babies, children and their families.
Each year more than 25,000 babies children and young people from across Ayrshire and arran are treated in hospitals that crosshouse children’s fund support. Funds raised bring the very latest medical equipment to Ayrshire, help families navigate their child’s journey and help children cope in hospital.
Any amount you can donate at all would be so very much appreciated, it is a wonderful charity who help so many children families and babies 🤍🤍🤍
. Wish us luck as we take on 23 miles!! ❤️ - Team Anna 🥰🤍✨
