Story
Hi, I am a mother of two boys and if you already know me you may know my youngest son Leo was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome at the start of this year.
It has had a massive impact on our lives since and has been a very tough year for all of us as a family. We are still at the very start of this journey and learning all about how Leo’s brain works and we are trying to help manage and support Leo needs as challenging as it can be.
So when the opportunity came to raise money for this amazing charity, I couldn’t resist and couldn’t believe my luck!
Getting a place to run at the London landmarks half marathon to raise money for Tourette’s action is an absolute honour! This charity goes above and beyond to help many families all around the UK and I wanted to show our appreciation.
So please if you can help donate anything at all me and my family would be extremely grateful.
This is all for you Leo 💗
Tourettes Action relies entirely on the support of people like you. We receive no support from government, so fundraising by our supporters is essential for our work with people living with Tourette Syndrome (TS).
Tourettes Action works in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and is the leading support and research charity for people with Tourette Syndrome and their families. We want people with TS to receive the practical support and social acceptance they need to help them live their lives to the full.
