Story
On Saturday 27th April, I will be running 52km – the length of the Union Canal from Edinburgh to Falkirk – to raise money for The Stephen Lyon Organisation, a mental health charity based in Kinross. The team offer a support service in the local area and specialises in empowering those experiencing suicidal thoughts to take back control of their lives.
The Stephen Lyon Organisation also delivers awareness programmes and workshops to young people over 14 to raise awareness and help them understand the factors that influence suicidal thoughts and where they should go for help. They bring together expertise, knowledge and skills to achieve change, break down barriers and improve lives.
I am immensely grateful to anyone who can spare a few pounds to support their work. Thank you.
