Story
On 16 September, I will be embarking upon the iconic Kirkpatrick C2C challenge - a 400 km (250 mile) coast to coast road cycling route through southern Scotland. The route starts on the west coast at Stranraer and ends at Eyemouth’s historic harbour on the east coast, where I hope to arrive in one piece, after four days of ups and downs!
I'm am attempting on the way to raise money for South Kent Mind (SKM), a local independent charity supporting the mental health of people living across the Folkestone & Hythe and Dover district areas. We are dedicated to improving the lives of people living with mental health challenges in South Kent. Our vision is for everyone to have somewhere to turn for advice and support for their mental health.
I have been a volunteer for SKM for almost 2 years now and through the activities that I support, have witnessed first hand the impact that the Charity makes on the local community.
If you can spare a few pounds - I'd be very grateful.
