Story
Hello my friends!
Seven years ago, I raised awareness and funding for our three Washington National Parks through summiting Mt. Rainier with Climb For a Cause. This experience led me to joining the Washington National Parks Fund's volunteer Board for six years, learning over and over about the powerful impacts that they drive!
WNPF works closely with the three Park Superintendents and staff to identify the most leveraged and savvy ways to use this funding to both preserve the Parks for future generations, and--as important--increase access for all.
My time on the Board ends this year, and I am excited to bookend my Board service with doing another climb, with an amazing team, to support our Parks for all.
A dedicated team of climbers is joining forces to raise funds for Washington's national parks. The culmination of these fundraising efforts will be a thrilling 3-day summit attempt of Mount Rainier (Tahoma) in August of 2024. The specific proceeds raised from this initiative will contribute to search and rescue operations in Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.
Join me in supporting my climb and our parks with a donation, and sharing this work (WNPF.org) with your friends!
