We’re on a mission to build a Microsoft Teams Room on one of the highest peaks in Wales. The purpose of the event is to raise £20,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), one of the most technologically advanced Children’s hospitals in the world.

GOSH Charity is the UK’s largest dedicated funder of child health research which provides care to approximately 750 seriously ill children and young people every day.

The funds raised for GOSH Charity support the hospital and its patients by funding four key areas:

• Support for families and children

• Life-saving medical equipment

• Research into children’s health

• Rebuilding and refurbishment

This will be the first time we are raising money for a children’s charity, because we believe that childhood and serious illness are two words that should never go together. We know that thousands of families struggle daily with the diagnosis and care for children with life threatening illnesses and we want to contribute to, and support GOSH in helping to make a difference.

THE EVENT

20 Kinly employees will be joined by 5 people from our event sponsors on Saturday 1st July. We’ll be climbing the mountain with MTR equipment strapped to our backs in a grueling 5mile trek. We are climbing up to 1000m, we hope to reach the top in roughly 2 hours. At the top of the mountain, we will build the 8-seater MTR and start the meeting for participants to join us. The MTR will be donated to GOSH after the event has taken place.
