Recognising the unique challenges MND presents, the 4ED Foundation provides vital financial resources to enhance the quality of life for those affected by MND, proactively supporting those adapting to ever-changing circumstances.

Story

In July 2022 Gloucester Rugby player Ed Slater announced his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and thus the 4Ed campaign was created to raise awareness and funds in support of Ed and his family’s battle with the disease.

During Wellbeing Week, from 3rd to 7th February, staff and pupils at King's School will come together for the 4Ed Cycling Challenge. Our goal is to cycle an impressive 350 miles, averaging 70 miles each day on three static bikes set up in the school. We are setting ourselves an ambitious target of raising £5,000.

By supporting this fundraiser you will be directly helping Ed and other families living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in the UK to access urgent financial and psychological support, allowing them to concentrate on the important things without the new pressures in front of them.

Thank you for your kindness in raising awareness and funds 4Ed and the MND community.
