We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

In January 2023 my son Ashley was diagnosed with a Medulloblastoma brain tumour. Following 3 operations to remove the tumour in January & February 2023, Ash underwent 31 sessions radiotherapy and 43 sessions chemotherapy. During this time, he lost nearly 4st in weight along with his hair and any form of a normal life.

Thankfully Ash was told in September 2023 that the tumour had been successfully treated and he is currently in remission. After the journey our family have been on over the last 18 months I have decided to organise a golf day to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity. The money raised will go towards research into this horrendous condition and will also be used to support people with brain tumors and their families.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
