I'm trying to raise money for my local Cats Protection by doing the Big Summer Roam throughout Augst. As those of you who know me will know, I don't walk very well anymore and spend my time in a wheelchair - the only way I can move around safely outdoors. So my challenge for August is to walk 10 miles - it doesn't sound very far to someone who walks well, but for me it's like conquering Everest!

I would be so grateful if people could donate to my page, I'm not asking for thousands of pounds, £2.50 would make a huge difference to the CPL (and would keep me motivated!)

I have until the 31st August to complete my 10 miles and as of today (2nd Aug) I've done half a mile. I'm off out again in a minute so if you see me, just give me a small donation.
