Story

They say that the best ideas often seem a little crazy at first. Well, here we are, embracing the extraordinary and embarking on what some might call a crazy idea: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in memory of my brother Neil.

As we approach what would have been Neil's 40th birthday, I wanted to take on an adventure that matched his bravery and determination. Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak represents the ultimate test of physical and mental strength. But I won’t be doing it alone as I have somehow convinced both Anthony and Jordan to join me.

Neil faced the challenges of muscular dystrophy with courage and determination, never allowing his condition to dim his infectious smile or dampen his zest for life. He taught me the true meaning of courage and perseverance, and I carry his memory with me every day.

Muscular dystrophy is a cruel and relentless disease that robs individuals of their strength, mobility, and independence. It's a battle that Neil fought valiantly every day of his life. Climbing Kilimanjaro is not just about reaching the summit; it's about honouring Neil's memory in the most meaningful way possible and making a tangible difference in the fight against muscular dystrophy.

As we prepare for this monumental trek, we've set an ambitious fundraising target of £15,000—£5,000 each, in honour of Neil's 40th birthday. We need your support, your encouragement, and yes, maybe even a little bit of your belief in our crazy idea.

Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to our shared goal and makes a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by muscular dystrophy and their families.

Neil's 40th birthday is a poignant reminder of the milestones he will never reach, but it's also an opportunity for us to come together and make a positive impact in his honour. Thank you for joining us on this journey and for keeping Neil's memory alive through your kindness and generosity.

With excitement, determination, and just a hint of madness,

Scott, Anthony and Jordan
