Doddie Aid 2024 · 1 January 2024 to 3 February 2024 ·

Just when you thought January would be spent on the sofa, eating leftover chocolate coins, and counting down the days until the 6 Nations starts, it is back, Doddie Aid 2024!

Story

Doddie's story has transcended the rugby world. To fearlessly face down his diagnosis and improve the research landscape for people living with MND is mind-blowing. And to have done it with a smile never far from his lips, and humour punctuating every call to action, Doddie is an inspiration. Doddie Aid is a way for us all to do our little bit to help him and the Foundation in the quest to find better treatments for MND.

Kilbarchan Vet practice will be competing in a league of other IVC vet practices in the UK. During the 5 week challenge, we will be walking, running, cycling, skiing and moving in as many ways as possible to clock up those miles! So don’t be surprised if you find us jogging on the spot when you pay us a visit!

Motor Neuron Disease is diagnosed in 1 in 300 people in the UK, so many of you may have been personally affected by this disease already. This charity means a lot to us, Beth lost her Mum to the condition in February 2020. We will be fundraising in addition to our sign up donations and we would be so so grateful for any penny you are able to spare for this incredible cause.

The MND community is amazing and unbelievably driven to finding a cure... and we are getting close. Let's keep fighting and raise as much money as we can so that one day an MND Diagnosis is not a terminal diagnosis.

Thank you,

Kilbarchan Vet Practice
