Kieran's London Marathon 2025 fundraiser for Mind

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
Hey Everyone 👋
Thank you for being here and for taking the time to listen to something very close to my heart.
On Sunday 27th April I’ll be running the London Marathon. 26.2 miles of grit, determination, and most importantly purpose. I’m not just running for myself; I’m running for someone who has fought a much harder race. My mum.
My mum is clinically disabled and suffers from bipolar disorder. For as long as I can remember, she has battled the highs and lows of a condition that affects every part of hers and my families life. There were days when she was unstoppable full of energy, ideas, and laughter. But then came the crashes, the darkness, the days when even getting out of bed felt impossible. I’ve seen her fight through hospital stays, medication changes, and moments where hope felt far away. But she has never given up. And we are always so proud of her.
Mental illness is invisible, but it is very real. And too many people suffer in silence, afraid to reach out for help. That’s why I’m running for MIND, a charity that supports people struggling with mental health, offering life-saving help when it’s needed most.
But I can’t do this alone. I need your help. Every donation no matter how small goes towards ensuring that no one faces mental illness alone. It funds crisis helplines, therapy sessions, and the support that can change, and even save, lives.
So, as I take on this marathon, I ask you to stand with me. Let’s run towards a future where mental health is understood, supported, and never ignored. If you can donate, please do. Together, we can make a difference one step, one mile, one life at a time.
Thank you.
