Story
On October 1st, I'll be challenging myself by participating in a Half Marathon, to support a charity close to my heart, Lia’s Wings.
Lia’s Wings is an amazing national charity that provides hospital air transfers for children. They ensure that babies and critically ill children can access specialist treatment and care, wherever they are.
This cause is particularly important to me, and my family, as Lia’s Wings went above and beyond to help transfer my beautiful baby nephew, Lochlan, all the way from Abu Dhabi to Glasgow. This was their longest transfer to date and meant that Lochlan could receive specialised care surrounded by his family.
Lochlan devastatingly passed away on the 22nd of June, but as a family, we are determined to keep his memory alive, and this half marathon is my way of honouring Lochlan and supporting the incredible work of Lia’s Wings.
Any shares and donations are greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small.

Thank you!
