Mini Marathon, 16 October 2023
Teddy is a 4 year old from West Sussex, who is obsessed with trains! In July 2022 he was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma. Thanks to your support, in February 2024 Teddy enrolled on the DFMO Study at the Penn State Children's Hospital.

Story

The children (and team) will be completing a mini marathon in the week of 16th October.

We will be completing laps of our grassy garden (running or walking) throughout the week and our Hassocks children and team will collectively cover the distance of 26.2 miles.

Teddy is 3 years old and mad about trains! In July 2022 he was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer that has a 40-50% chance of long-term survival at diagnosis. His parents, Katherine andAlastair are currently fundraising for potentially lifesaving treatment, either to get their son into remission or to try and keep the cancer away if his frontline treatment does go to plan. This could cost hundreds of thousands of pounds.
