In March 2024, I will join a self funded team of 15 incredible women to cover 100km across the majestic Gobi Desert on Bactrian camels. Our team, coming together under the banner of 'Her Planet Earth' - a non-profit organization headquartered in Singapore dedicated to gender equality and environmental conservation - aims to supports The Nature Conservancy (TNC), a global environmental organization that partners with Mongolian herder communities, preserving the delicate balance between tradition and conservation.

For those of you who know me, know that I am drawn to adventures especially trekking. This passion is always been driven by a profound awe and respect for nature. In my time out in the trails and mountains, I've grown increasingly aware of the delicate balance between development and nature conservation. This time I am taking a journey that combines my passion for adventure with my strong dedication to conservation and women's empowerment. I'll be leaving the comfort of my home in Singapore to embrace the beautiful yet unpredictable harsh winter weather of the Gobi Desert. In many ways this challenge symbolizes the resilience, courage and dedication needed in environmental conservation and community development.

I am funding all my expedition costs personally, ensuring that every dollar raised goes directly to TNC.
