This year Neurokinex is teaming up with The Superhero Tri for their annual Step Up Challenge! We are fundraising once again to secure funds to provide critical rehabilitation for those with newly acquired spinal cord injuries and other Neuro conditions such as Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

The challenge is to cover the equivalent distance between the three Neurokinex sites – a huge 500km!

With the help of Neurokinex trainers we are being challenged to go as far as we can by the three triathlon disciplines.

1) Ski erg / Arm cycle (swimming)

2) Leg bike (cycling)

3) Wheelchair Push (running)

I'm hoping to cover 10km in total.

As many will be aware I have been attending Neurokinex twice a week since March last year and I cannot speak highly enough of what they do in terms both of what I can physically achieve but also in maintaining motivation and positivity despite the MND slowly progressing. I am so happy to be able to participate in this challenge and help raise money so others less fortunate can have access to such an incredible facility.
