DMT Dachshund Rescue & Support Group is a charity with the sole purpose of rescuing dachshunds from the meat trade in Asia and bringing them to homes in the UK

To date (April 2023) we have rescued 135 Dachshunds from the meat trade, breeding facilities and kill shelters. We also work proactively with other rescue organisations and support them to rescue other breeds.

In late summer 2023, we are hoping to fly 9 dogs from China to the UK into their forever homes. We didn't think these dogs would survive but fast forward a few months and we have 9 healthy dogs who will soon be looking for their forever homes. The flights will come at a significant cost for the charity and so on 4th June we (and our own daxies) will be taking on a huge sponsored walk in Aviemore and Sutherland and so we would appreciate any support by way of donations. No amount is too small
