On 10th March 2024 I will be embarking on my challenge to run 7 Ultra Marathons in 7 Days in support of Crohn's and Colitis UK.

For those who might not know, an Ultra marathon is anything over 26.2 miles.

Approximately 20 years ago I battled with Ulcerative Colitis ending in surgery that resulted in having a Stoma bag fitted, that I live with today. This can be challenging at times and is a life changing operation, and something I am keen to raise awareness of whilst supporting this charity.

I will start my runs from Bannatyne Leeds on Sunday 10th March with my final run on Saturday 16th setting off from Bannatyne York. Most other runs will be closer to home running mainly around Harrogate and Knaresborough. I plan to cover around 200 miles in the week.

I am hoping to raise as much awareness as possible surrounding Crohn's and Colitis and support this great charity.
