My son Patrick has bravely decided to participate in an abseil down the Etihad Stadium in support of raising funds for City in the Community Foundation.

City in the Community carry out amazing work and provide life changing opportunities for children and young people. Patrick is a big Manchester City fan and has been given a fantastic opportunity that he would otherwise not have been able to do.

Patrick has been attending the children’s disability football sessions at Manchester City’s academy each week. Patrick enjoys attending and is always made to feel welcome and included. He has been learning new skills, gaining confidence, making new friends and having fun! Any one who knows Patrick will understand how important this is for him.
