Story
After bravely battling with a brain tumour for two years, the Stoner family tragically lost their daughter Millie last year.
Chestnut Tree House looked after Millie in her final days and with your support they can continue to support other children and families facing similar challenges.
I was fortunate enough to coach Millie's brother Harry for five seasons and my small part to remember Millie, and to support this wonderful charity, is to run the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 7th April 2024 (and the Worthing Half Marathon on Sunday 28th April).
I'm not really a runner (and this is my first marathon) but all the miles spent running in the cold and wet this winter will have been worth it to raise much needed funds for Chestnut Tree House.
If you are able to make a donation, no matter how small, it will be hugely appreciated.
Chestnut Tree House is a children’s charity providing hospice care and community support for children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions. The cost of providing Chestnut Tree House care services is over £5 million per year and only 17% of this is government funded.
There are hundreds of children and young people in your local community who are unlikely to reach adulthood. And even more parents and family members who need care, help and support on their journey, as they don't know how long they will have together.
Your support helps families to spend time together. Precious moments that give a lifetime of memories.
